Submitting applications

Whether you have applied for a specific role or submitted your resume through on our registration form, one of our Specialist Consultants will read through your submitted resume. Our recruitment process is similar for both permanent and temporary contractors.

You will be interviewed and skills testing will be administered where appropriate and we’ll make sure you’re looked after! Because we have Specialist Consultants, we understand your needs and we’ll assist you in any we can!

Interview and Referral to clients

All Consultants are trained in the methodology of competency based interviewing

We will call you to discuss opportunities and then arrange for an interview so that we can gain a clear understanding of your skills, experience, personality and future aspirations.

At interview stage, a Registration and Privacy Consent Form will be given to you to sign so that we can conduct reference checks with previous Managers to validate skills, experience and performance.

The success of our relationship with our candidates is built upon our commitment of maintaining close and long-term relationships, ongoing personal interaction, and a gaining your trust and confidence with our provision of quality service. Our Specialist Consultants will then either:

  • Refer you forward for the specific role you have applied for;
  • Market your resume out to potential clients;
  • Maintain contact until the appropriate role is sought

We will always call you to gain your permission before referring your resume to a client.

Getting that Job!

Once you have completed interviews and possible testing, we will obtain feedback from both the client and yourself to ensure that both parties are interested in moving forward. At this feedback stage, we can “nut out” any salary issues, role-specific issues, start dates, pending holidays etc on your behalf.

We will then discuss the Letter of Offer with you to ensure it is to your satisfaction, before confirming your acceptance and start date with the client. Remember – once you have started in your new role, you are not alone! We will maintain regular contact with both yourself and the client to provide you with ongoing support and advice.

If you are contracting for RB Recruitment, we will talk to you on a more regular basis to ensure that we are aware of your future availability at all times. RB Recruitment will ask Employers for Performance Feedback so that we can provide you with constructive feedback which will assist in future performance.
